As part of our accreditation with the Zoo and Aquarium Association of Australasia (ZAA), we proudly participate in nationally coordinated species management programs. These programs support the genetic diversity and long-term sustainability of native wildlife in human care.
Recently, it was decided that Ruby and Frosty be transferred to Moonlit Sanctuary in Victoria to support the broader breeding program.
We deeply value our small role in the wildlife conservation space and while we are always sad to say goodbye to our beloved family members, we understand that such decisions are important for the greater good of the species.
We're so proud that Frosty and Ruby will continue to make a difference in another part of the country. And we thank the wonderful team at Moonlit Sanctuary for taking good care of them.
